In a thrilling first game against GIS, No. 8 was the undeniable hero for TIS, securing a crucial assist and sinking the game-winning shot in the dying seconds to seal a dramatic victory. His calm under pressure and clutch performance were the highlight of Game 1, as TIS fought back from the brink to win by a narrow margin. But despite his valiant efforts, Game 2 was a different story, as No. 8’s contributions couldn’t stop AIS’s incredible free-throw shooting streak in the final moments.
In Game 1, TIS found themselves in a tight battle against GIS. With the clock winding down, No. 8 orchestrated a key assist, threading the needle to set up a teammate for a crucial bucket that brought TIS back into the game. And in the dying seconds, when the game was on the line, No. 8 kept his cool, sinking a game-winning shot that sent the crowd into a frenzy. His performance was nothing short of spectacular, proving his ability to deliver when it mattered most.
However, Game 2 told a different story. Despite No. 8’s best efforts, contributing 5 solid points to keep his team in contention, AIS proved nearly unstoppable. The pivotal moment came in the final minutes, when AIS’s No. 6 took over, hitting a series of flawless free throws to extend their lead. No. 6's ice-cold accuracy at the line, combined with TIS’s inability to answer back, sealed the game for AIS, who almost had a perfect streak from the charity stripe in the dying minutes.
While No. 8 did everything he could to keep TIS competitive, the team’s inability to stop AIS’s free-throw dominance ultimately left them short. Though his performance was strong, with his clutch moments still fresh in fans’ minds, it wasn’t enough to tip the balance in TIS’s favor. The loss was a hard pill to swallow, but it also showed that with a bit more consistency they could certainly bounce back stronger in the next matchup.
